The Vermont Fuel Dealers Association is a non-profit organization of companies in the heating fuel business.  First established in 1963 as the Vermont Oil Heat Institute, VFDA serves as an advocate and resource for this vital industry. VFDA members sell heating oil, diesel, gasoline, kerosene, biofuel and propane. VFDA represents nearly 300 companies across the state, including retail and wholesale/supplier operations and HVAC companies. VFDA trains more than a thousand oil and gas technicians annually. Collectively, our members store, sell, deliver and service approximately 95 percent of the liquid heating fuel used statewide. VFDA provides members with legislative representation and regulatory assistance. Members have access to VFDA’s education and training courses, exhibition and marketing opportunities, advertising, drug and alcohol testing and a wide array of insurance services.
